In September 1998, a young and dynamic Educationist, Oyeleye O.A PhD, M.A, B.A(Ed), with his wife, Rosemary, decided to establish a co-educational school where young minds can be brought together for illumination, enlightenment, knowledge and total preparation for a responsible adulthood. In their preparations, efforts were made to assemble vibrant and professionally qualified teachers to achieve the noble goal.

By September 21st 1998, El-Crystal Star Schools commenced full operation as a co-educational school in Igando, a suburb of Lagos, Nigeria. A total number of forty-nine (49) pupils started schooling on the first day of the school with a total number of thirteen teachers. The take-off was with Nursery and Primary School only. Between 1998 and 2002, the growth of the school had become rapid and tremendous, with the whole of Igando and its environs having El-Crystal Star as the house-hold name. The demand from Parents and members of the the public led to the establishment of El-Crystal Star College in September, 2002.

El-Crystal Star is a group of Schools that is committed to the education of the total child. Because of our hard belief in the personal potential of every child, we create unique platform for every child to make a self-discovery and thrive to develop his/her natural and God-given potentials and personal aptitude. In a bid to discover self and develop self-worth, we employ friendliness and personal contact with each child, thereby making learning to take place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We essentially pride ourselves in producing young Nigerians who come out with self-confidence, discipline and determination to contribute to the National development after their Higher education. In the process of educating our children, we introduce the fear of God in them; thereby making them to be conscious of their spiritual and moral obligations.
